catastrophe

for sally: cute boy + tea. o you have no idea how much i'm craving for earl grey tea right now. i
just had coffee actually, just came back from a random date.

ok he was from a good boys school (+1 pt) he drives (+1 pt) we went to an exhibit, movie, coffee
(+3 pts) we didnt eat fast food (+1) he paid for everything (-5 pts, i hate that) he plays 30 seconds
to mars in his car (-10 pts) he wants to be an astronaut (+1 pt, so adorable .. astronaut ..)
he has a 11pm curfew tonight (-5 pts) he has a tattoo (+5 pts) he doesnt like animals (-10 pts).

it saddens me how boys these days lack depth. to be honest the boys i've been on dates with
never had interesting things to say. i can feel my thoughts wandering away in about 2 minutes
into the conversation. he reads and could discuss writers and pop culture stuff but after awhile
he was more intent on talking about soccer and lost. wtf lost??? i hate that show. maybe i'm too
hard. maybe i'm destined to be alone for the rest of my life, purge out sad intellectual book after
book and write on my kitchen stove a la miranda july.

monday i met sonzy and adibx we had yogurt, window shopped and sat on grass. after his
"mad thing" kengleong came and drove us to east coast. its funny when your friends start to
drive one by one. i like to laugh at them drive, they're so very cute and awkward. kenneth
also! drive like a grandma but its ok its safe driving at least we all dont die.

o ya someone (bryan? jules? sonz?) was telling me about the soundtrack for the new twilight
movie. so i looked it up just now when we had a break from discussing the kids art carnival this
weekend, and well ........ i like how shila described the whole thing best. she's hilarioussss!!!!!

Seriously what are these legitimate musicians doing on the soundtrack for the lamest
bunch of vampires in history? The money must have been pretty damn good I assume.
Just so we're on this damned topic, I saw the trailer for New Moon because it was on
the VMAs. I wish Kanye had interrupted that portion of the show instead. I really do.
So from what I saw in the trailer, New Moon is about a young girl who begins hurting
herself and attempts suicide after her boyfriend breaks up with her. Then he decides
to kill himself too after finding out she died. There are also werewolves involved.

It's just real intense kids.
