i've been a little obsessed with asian arthouse films lately. mostly japanese.
they're incredible: every aspect of misc-en-scene, the mere premise of each script
this particular film was excruciatingly slow at the start and barely had dialogue throughout its duration,
but i was in tears about twenty minutes in. it is a story about three different 'never-ending' love short-stories
intelligently crafted to intertwine, somehow. i recommend it to everyone who believe they have
the time and patience for this, or just feel a little lost in life.
looking at photos of the london trip i had last year, i found a photo of this poem from
cheyenne's copy of 'classical love poetry', from the british museum.

i adore this so much
i want to engrave it on withered wood
