catastrophe

when it rains there's always the excuse not to do anything but roll around in bed, watch
spongebob, blog, drink hot cocoa. but when the rain stops on a saturday afternoon, you HAVE to
do something. its the "after the rain syndrome". i'm currently craving for a picnic. wear pretty
dresses and roll around in wet grass. eat things we grab off the shelves of 711 and drink cheap
wine. maybe read a magazine or a book, and we get bored we'll blast our favourite metric or
phoenix songs from an ipod dock. climb a tree even though we fear exposing our undies, be
shocked when it drizzles again but secretly love it, wished more of our friends were there, our
makeup is smudging under our eyes but we dont care!, feed the swans buttered bread and go
aww at the kids playing with bubbles.



for now i'll just go by the pool to embrace the non-existent sun and listen to telefon tel aviv,
cocorosie, and stars while i wait for my pals to wake up. still hooked on cellophane~*~
